Helpful Tips for a Successful Application and Interview

• Thoroughly review the examples, links and helpful tips provided.
• Be sure to include 3 references with your cover letter.
• Resume should not exceed 1-2 pages.

     Interview TIPS:

• Review our website and get to know the Foundation.
• Show up on time.
• Dress professionally.
• Solid handshake (if appropriate), elbow bump or virtual wave.
• Smile, eye contact, and good posture go a long way.
• Breathe
• Interviews are conversations.... listen and be yourself.
• Prepare questions to ask the interviewers.
• Think about your final question/statement.  This is your opportunity to describe why you should receive this scholarship over the other candidates.
